Comprehensive Management of Complex Malocclusions: Anterior Open Bite/Severe Crowding/Class III with Non-Extraction Non-TAD's Approach

Session Details:

This half day workshop provides a comprehensive, evidence-based framework for managing complex malocclusions with Invisalign® using non-extraction non-TAD´s protocols. Participants will review critical diagnostic parameters—including skeletal discrepancies, growth potential, dental compensations, functional shifts, and soft tissue balance—to establish clear patient selection criteria.

Anterior Open Bite complex treatments will be shown reviewing the types of biomechanics involved in anterior open bite closure. Anterior open bites combination with sagital and /or lateral crossbite malocclusions treatments will be displayed. Complex severe non-extraction crowding malocclusions, requiere digital workflow from clinical and x-ray diagnosis integrated into clincheck® software.

A meticulous selection of space achievers: Expansion, Proclination, IPR and Distalization is mandatory in order to achieve succesfull final results. Clinical and Radiographic diagnosis and prognosis of Impacted Canines requires the use of of CBCT 3D scan. Minimal invasive surgical approach and the management of auxiliary techniques in ectopic and impacted canine traction will be displayed . Clincheck® software 3D modifications control is a powerfull tool for final teeth position and occlusion to achieve a detailed and accurate finishing.

Objective:

• To identify and select approaches based on the different Complex Anterior Open Bite malocclusion combinations.
• Understand the non-surgical approaches in Class III Mandibular Molar Sequential Distalization Protocol reviewed step by step.
• Focused approaches on Complex Severe Crowding Non-Extraction Malocclusions.
