Prashant completed his master’s degree in Periodontics (1986) and Orthodontics (1989) from University of Bombay. Currently, he is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at University of Otago and has a Specialist Orthodontic & Periodontic private practice in Auckland, New Zealand. He has worked as a Senior Consultant and a Certified Trainer and Facilitator for Quality improvement in Health care at Qimpro Institute, an affiliate of Juran International Inc. USA. Currently, Prashant is the president of the New Association of Orthodontists and an Honorary Fellow of the Asia Pacific Orthodontic Society.

He is an astute clinician and his unique dual qualification generates interest in his presentations around the world. Prashant has keen interest in Sanskrit language, Vedic Scriptures, and Meditation.

Eric Liou, DDS, MS is an internationally recognized orthodontist, educator, and innovator specializing in craniofacial orthodontics, cleft care, and orthopedic orthodontic treatment. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Graduate Institute of Craniofacial Medicine, Chang Gung University, Taiwan, and Vice Superintendent of DentWay International Dental Hospital, Taipei, and serves as a Visiting Professor at Showa University, Tokyo.

Dr. Liou earned his DDS from Taipei Medical University and completed advanced postgraduate training in orthodontics at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He later obtained a Master of Science in Surgery and completed a Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. He is a board-certified orthodontist in Taiwan.

A global leader in the profession, Dr. Liou has served as President of the Taiwan Association of Orthodontists, President of the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society, and President of the World Implant Orthodontic Association, and currently sits on the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists. He is also Editor-in-Chief of APOS Trends in Orthodontics.

Dr. Liou has published 80 peer-reviewed articles, authored 11 book chapters, and holds multiple U.S. and Taiwanese patents in orthodontic biomechanics. His honors include the Dewel Award, repeated recognition among the World’s Top 2% Scientists, and the 2023 Paul Herren Award, becoming the first Asian orthodontist to receive this distinction.

Professor Nikhillesh R Vaiid is the Immediate Past President of the World Federation of Orthodontists.

He is an Adjunct Professor at Saveetha Dental College in Chennai, India and has a Private Practice in Dubai at the Invisalign Centre and in Mumbai, India.

He has widely published and edited journals including the "Seminars in Orthodontics" on four occasions and was the Editor in Chief of “APOS Trends in Orthodontics" from 2010-20. He’s currently EIC- Emeritus of the same.  He’s an active member of the Angle Society - North Atlantic component. 

Clinically, he believes in cutting edge technology and patient centred protocols. His philosophy- “patient comfort first” where the journey towards a beautiful smile should be as enriching as the destination. 

He's published more than 160 peer reviewed papers and textbook chapters and has lectured in more than 50 countries around the world.

The important forums at which he has lectured include the AAO Annual Sessions, the International Orthodontic Congresses, ALADA, AOS, APOS and many more.

Prof Vaid's current areas of interest are Evidence Based Decision Making, Technology, Aligners, Orthodontic Rx effects and Management Protocols.

He is passionate about Bollywood, Modern Indian Art, Cricket, Single Malt Whiskies and of-course Orthodontics. 

His mission is to encourage global collaboration in the profession through leadership, advocacy and voluntary service towards professional societies.

Dr. Sumit Yadav is a Professor, Associate Dean of Research, and Chair of the Department of Advanced Specialty Sciences. He is an Endowed Chair in Orthodontics. He has published extensively, with more than 170 peer-reviewed articles, and his research is funded by the NIH and the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation. He serves as a member of the Planning and Review Committee of the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation.

Dr. Yadav has received comprehensive training in dentistry, orthodontics, and business management. After earning a BDS (Manipal University, 2002) and an MDS in Orthodontics (Rajiv Gandhi University, 2006), he completed a PhD in Dental Sciences (Indiana University–Purdue University, 2010) and a Certificate in Orthodontics (University of Connecticut, 2013). To further strengthen his leadership and management expertise, he completed the Management Acceleration Program at UCLA Anderson (2021), earned an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg (2022), and obtained a Master’s in the Business of Orthodontics from Wharton (2022).

Dr M. Ali Darendeliler is Professor and Chair of Orthodontic, Discipline of Orthodontics, at the University of Sydney.

He received his dentistry training from the University of Istanbul and his PhD from the University of Gazi, in Turkey and his first specialist training in orthodontics from the University of Geneva, Switzerland and his second specialist training from the High Education Council, Turkey.

During his career he has undertaken duties as a clinical instructor, research and postgraduate coordinator at the University of Geneva, Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina, Research Professor at the University of Southern California.

Dr Darendeliler has been recognized for his efforts with multiple prizes including the “Sheldon Friel Award, the highest recognition from the European Orthodontic Society, the “Begg Award”, the highest research award from the Australian Society of Orthodontists, and the Huston Award for best research from the European Orthodontic Society. He is also awarded Honorary Fellowship by the World Federation of Orthodontists.

His research interests include orthodontic tooth movement, root resorption, obstructive sleep apnoea, temporary anchorage devices, sequential aligners, accelerated tooth movement, magnetic fields and forces and dentofacial orthopedics. He lectured in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

In addition to his research and teaching commitments he also maintains two private specialist orthodontic practices.

Professor Anand Marya, BDS, MS Orthodontics, MSc (Orthodontic Research), PhD, FDS RCPS Glasgow, FDS RCS (Eng), MFDS RCS (Edin), FNAMS, FICD, FICCDE, FPFA, is an internationally recognized orthodontist, researcher, and academic leader currently serving as Dean and Program Director of Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Puthisastra, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Professor Marya obtained his BDS degree from Seema Dental College and Hospital, India, Postgraduate orthodontic training from the University of the East, Manila, Philippines, an MSc in Orthodontic Research from the University of Bolton, United Kingdom, and a PhD in Oral Biology from Thammasat University.

He has authored more than 250 peer-reviewed scientific publications on topics related to orthodontic biomechanics, digital orthodontics, artificial intelligence in dentistry, and evidence-based clinical research and serves on the editorial boards of several leading international journals, including the International Dental Journal, Scientific Reports, BMC Oral Health, and JDR Clinical and Translational Research.

Professor Marya has been ranked among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Elsevier–Stanford University for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025) and among the top scientists globally in Orthodontics by ScholarGPS. He currently serves as President-Elect of the International Association for Dental Research Southeast Asia (IADR-SEA) Division and actively contributes to multiple global academic and professional organizations. Professor Marya is a permanent life member of the Cambodia Association of Orthodontics (CAO) and a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Dr. Aron Dellinger is a board-certified orthodontist known for his dedication to clinical excellence, innovation, and leadership within the orthodontic profession. He earned his BA in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington in 1992, followed by his DDS from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1996. He completed his MSD in Orthodontics at Saint Louis University in 1998.

Upon graduation, Dr. Dellinger joined Orthodontic Specialty Services in Northern Indiana, where he practiced alongside his father, brother, and uncle. He had the privilege of working closely with his father and mentor, Dr. Gene Dellinger, until his passing in 2020—a period Dr. Dellinger considers foundational to his professional growth.

Dr. Dellinger is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the prestigious E.H. Angle Midwest Society. Throughout his career, he has served in numerous leadership positions within the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists. Most recently, he serves as Secretary General of the World Federation of Orthodontists.

An innovator in his field, Dr. Dellinger holds two patents related to a unique magnetic retention system. His professional contributions have been recognized with honors including the AAO Foundation’s Raymond George Sr. Award for Outstanding Donated Orthodontic Service and the Saint Louis University CADE Outstanding Alumni Award. He is also a sought-after lecturer for orthodontic programs across the country.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Dellinger enjoys spending time with his family, exploring great food, and traveling.

Dr. Bo Hoon Joo is an orthodontist and dental technology entrepreneur whose career bridges clinical orthodontics and artificial intelligence. A graduate of Kyung Hee University College of Dentistry, he completed advanced orthodontic training at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he later served as Assistant Professor, before returning to Korea as Professor of Orthodontics at Samsung Medical Center. From 2002 to 2016, he served as Invisalign's APAC Chief Clinical Advisor, treating the highest volume of Invisalign cases in Korea and building one of the region's most extensive clear aligner case databases. He continues to practice as Representative Director of STAR28 Dental Clinic in Seoul.

Building on this clinical foundation, Dr. Joo has spent the past decade at the intersection of orthodontics and artificial intelligence. As CEO of InnoDtech Inc., he leads the development of an AI-based clinical decision support system for orthodontic diagnosis and clear aligner treatment planning, recognized as a CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Digital Health category. His work focuses on translating deep clinical experience into evidence-based AI tools that improve diagnostic accuracy and planning efficiency while keeping clinician judgment at the center of care. A frequent international lecturer on the responsible integration of AI into orthodontic practice, Dr. Joo offers audiences the combined perspective of a high-volume clinician and a technology innovator.

Dr Chan graduated from The London Hospital Medical College Dental School, University of London in 1983. He worked as a private dental practitioner in Westcliff-on-Sea, UK for three years, before starting his basic orthodontic training at University of Wales College of Medicine Dental School. He graduated from his Master degree awarded with The Orthologic Prize of Excellence in Clinical Orthodontics. In 1989, he started his higher orthodontic training as Registrar in Orthodontics at the University College Hospital Dental School, University of London before working in a private specialist orthodontic practice in Chelmsford, UK. Subsequently, he was appointed as Senior Registrar in Orthodontics at the Royal Dental Hospital Unit of St George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London as well as Senior Registrar in Orthodontics at King’s College Hospital Dental School, University of London. Upon returning to Hong Kong, he taught at Prince Philip Dental Hospital as a part-time lecturer in Orthodontics and he is currently teaching orthodontic MDS students at the Institute of Advanced Dentistry, HKU. He has been working in his own private specialist practice in Hong Kong for the last 35 years. He runs a unique orthodontic practice specializing in orthodontic uprighting of impacted third molars.

Prof. Derya Germeç Çakan graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Hacettepe University in Ankara and completed her PhD in Orthodontics in 2005 at the Institute of Health Sciences of Hacettepe University. Since 2006, she has been working as a Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Türkiye, where she also oversees the Craniofacial Orthodontics Clinic. In 2015, she visited the Craniofacial Center at Seattle Children’s Hospital, USA, as an observer.

Her principal areas of interest include cleft lip and palate, craniofacial anomalies, and interdisciplinary treatment approaches. She has published numerous clinical and research articles in national and international journals and has authored several book chapters.

She is a member of the Turkish and European Orthodontic Societies, the World Federation of Orthodontists, and the Turkish Cleft Lip and Palate Association.

She served as President of the Turkish Orthodontic Society between 2022 and 2024 and as Editor-in-Chief of the Turkish Journal of Orthodontics. She currently serves as the European representative on the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Professor Gang Shen is now the Professor & PGs Supervisor of Wuhan University of TaiKang Dental Research Institution based in Shanghai China, the Executive President of TaiKang ByBo Dental Corporation China, the Director of Shanghai TaiKang Dental Hospital and the R&D Chief Scientist of Shanghai Smartee Denti-Technology Co.,Ltd, China.

Prof. Shen Obtained his BDS in 1988 and then MDSc (Orth) in 1991 from Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine). In 2000, Dr Shen was awarded Ph.D from the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Dentistry. In 1995, Dr Shen was in Australia for advanced clinic training firstly with Dr Brian Lee in Bendigo and then with Dr Wayne Sampson in Adelaide. He was Chair Professor in Orthodontics Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Stomatology from 2000 to 2004 before he moved to Australia taking up the full time academic position as Associate Professor in Orthodontics in University of Sydney Faculty of Dentistry. He was also appointed as orthodontic staff specialist treating patients in Sydney Dental Hospital and Westmead Hospital. He was given special permission by Australia Dental Board NSW to conduct extramural private practice. In June 2008, Dr Shen returned to Shanghai and resumed his duty as Chair Professor in Orthodontics Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Stomatology. Professor Shen’s important posts also included the Vice Dean of School of Stomatology Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, President of Shanghai Association of Orthodontists and Vice President of Chinese Orthodontic Society.

Dr Shen's research interests include biological and biomolecular response of boine junctions in craniofacial regions to external forces, biological mechanisms of phenotypic shifting of chondrocytes during the transition from cartilage to bone, and the innovative work on development of the newly developed clear orthopedic appliances S8-SGTB. Prof Shen has published extensively in many prestigious dental and orthodontic journals and lectured world-widely in many occasions.

Dr. Heng-Ming Mark Chang is an orthodontist from Taiwan and currently serves as Director of the Department of Dentistry and Orthodontics at Chang Bing Show Chwan Memorial Hospital. He received his DDS degree from Chung Shan Medical University in 2002, completed his MClinDent in Orthodontics at University of Sheffield in 2006, and obtained Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth RCSEd) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008.

Dr. Chang has extensive experience in clinical orthodontics, education, and academic leadership. He is an Executive Trustee of the Taiwan Association of Orthodontists and previously served as Chair of its Academic Committee. He is also a reviewer for the Australasian Orthodontic Journal.

His research interests focus on adult Class III camouflage treatment, microimplant-assisted rapid palatal expansion (MARPE), mandibular backward rotation (MBR), facial aesthetics, and three-dimensional orthodontic diagnosis. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Medicina, the Australasian Orthodontic Journal, and the Taiwanese Journal of Orthodontics.

Dr. Chang is also the developer of the Goal-Oriented Aesthetic Treatment (GOAT) framework, which emphasizes comprehensive three-dimensional facial assessment and patient-centered orthodontic treatment planning. His lectures are recognized for integrating biomechanics, facial aesthetics, and clinical innovation in contemporary orthodontics.

Dr. Jae Hyun Park is a tenured professor and chair of the Postgraduate Orthodontic Program at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), where he serves as an examiner and director of the Board, representing the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO). He is the immediate past president of the ABO. Dr. Park has received several awards for scientific and clinical excellence, including the Charley Schultz Award (1st Place in the Scientific Category of the Orthodontic Resident Scholars Program) and the Joseph E. Johnson Award (1st Place in the Table Clinic Competition) from the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). He recently received a grant from the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation (AAOF) and a Biomedical Research Award.

He was recently appointed editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJO-DO) and AJO-DO Clinical Companion. He has published over 440 scientific and clinical articles in peer-reviewed orthodontic and dental journals, including six cover pages in the AJO-DO, three books, and more than 30 book chapters. He has also delivered more than 170 invited CE lectures nationally and internationally, including the 2018 three-hour lecture at the American Dental Association Annual Session, representing the AAO.

Recently, he received the 2025 Arthur A. Dugoni Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2021 Award of Merit from the PCSO at the Western Orthodontic Annual Conferences, and the 2023 AAOF Louise Ada Jarabak Memorial International Teachers and Research Award at the 2023 AAO annual session.

Dr Jorge L. Castillo (DDS, MdentSci, MSD, PhD) is a distinguished pediatric dentist and orthodontist with advanced degrees from the University of Connecticut and the University of Washington, and a PhD from the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia.

He serves as Professor at the Department of Stomatology for Children and Adolescents at UPCH and as Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Health Sciences at the University of Washington.

A Diplomate of both the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr Castillo has held leadership roles in multiple professional organisations, including President of the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD) (2013‑2015; 2021‑2023) and member of the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists for 2025‑2030.

He has published extensively in indexed journals and lectured internationally across the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Dr. Kamy Malekian is a renowned orthodontic educator and international lecturer based in Madrid, Spain. He has served as a Visiting Professor at the Orthodontic Postgraduate Program at UCM Complutense University Madrid since 2001 and has been an Invisalign® International Clinical Speaker since 2002, as well as a member of the Invisalign® Faculty. Over the years, he has delivered more than 350 Invisalign Certification courses and Study Clubs across Europe and spoken at major congresses worldwide, including China, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, India, Thailand, and multiple APAC and EMEA Summits.

Clinically, he has treated over 3200 Invisalign® treatments and has been recognized as an Invisalign® Diamond Doctor since 2012. His work has earned him numerous awards, including the Top European Invisalign Case Submission Award in 2008 and multiple Invisalign® Gallery Peer Awards, with cases published internationally. He is also the author of an article in the Journal of Aligner Orthodontics (Quintessence, 2019), underscoring his commitment to advancing aligner therapy globally.

Dr. Chung H. Kau is Professor and Department Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Clinical Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (USA), a Specialist Orthodontist registered with the Singapore Dental Council, and has completed Specialist Registration with the General Dental Council (UK). He also holds a full license to practice in several US states, including Arizona, California, Washington State, and Vermont.

Dr. Kau serves as the Director of the Craniofacial Orthodontia Clinic in partnership with the Children’s Rehabilitation Service and Medicaid of Alabama. He actively practices clinical orthodontics, with special interests in craniofacial anomalies and dento-facial deformities.

He is also a dedicated researcher with a strong focus on clinical translational research, particularly in dento-facial deformities, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, accelerated tooth movement, and 4D jaw tracking. Currently, he serves as Principal Investigator on multiple NIH and industry grants, with total research involvement exceeding USD 4 million.

Dr. Kau actively contributes to orthodontic literature and has authored over 400 peer-reviewed publications, conference papers, and lectures. He has delivered more than 150 invited presentations across over 50 countries worldwide.

In 2011, he was awarded the prestigious King James IV Professorship by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, where he also served as International Advisor for the USA and as an examiner for the MFDS and MOrth examinations. He has additionally been conferred Visiting Professorships at the University of Debrecen, Nanjing Medical University, the University of Szeged, and Xi’an Jiaotong University.

Dr. Kee-Joon Lee is a professor of the Department of Orthodontics, Yonsei University College of Dentistry, Seoul, Korea. He is former dean of the Yonsei University College of Dentistry. He is currently the president of the World Implant Orthodontic Association. He received DDS and PhD degree at the Graduate school, College of Dentistry, Yonsei University. He completed the orthodontics specialty training in Yonsei University Dental Hospital. He was a visiting scholar at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2002-2004 and at the Division of Plastic Surgery, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2010-2011. He was an adjunct professor at the Department of Orthodontics, University of Pennsylvania between 2016 and 2019 and at Temple University between 2010 and 2011. He has contributed many book chapters on biomechanics of miniscrew-driven orthodontics, non-extraction treatment in adults, up-to-date lingual orthodontic mechanics and surgery-first approached using TADs. He is the first who demonstrated the miniscrew-assisted rapid palatal expander (MARPE) for adults in AJO-DO, which was cited by many other authors. He has published many articles and case reports regarding the treatment of non-eruption, and total arch movement for hyperdivergent face in orthodontic journals including cover issues in AJO-DO. His fields in research include clinical biomechanics regarding TADs application and the suture and bone responses to orthodontic stimulus. He was selected as the 2025 Kokich-Shapiro lecturer and 2025 Nanda lecturer. He was also appointed as the 2025 Keith-Godfrey Visiting Professor by the University of Sydney orthodontic alumni.

Dr. Ki Beom Kim is a Professor, Dr. Lysle Johnston Endowed Chair in Orthodontics, and the Program Director in the Orthodontic Department, Center for Advanced Dental Education at Saint Louis University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He received his dental training in South Korea, finished three years of Oral Medicine training, received his PhD in Orofacial Pain, and completed his orthodontic training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has presented many times at international and national meetings as well as published close to 100 peer-reviewed articles and multiple book chapters. Additionally, he has participated in over 120 master thesis projects over the years. He had three textbooks written.

Letizia Perillo is Full Professor and Head of the Department of Multidisciplinary Medical-Surgical and Dental Specialties, as well as Head of the Orthodontic Unit, at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Naples, Italy.

She is Past Dean of the School of Dentistry and former Chair of the NEBEOP Postgraduate Orthodontic Program at the same university. Prof. Perillo also serves as Visiting Professor at the University of Alexandria, Egypt, and at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA. She is currently President of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) and has previously served as President of both the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO) and the Mediterranean Orthodontic Integration Project (MOIP).

Prof. Perillo is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the AAO, EHASO, EOS, SIDO, MOIP, SIOCMF, and the Charles H. Tweed Foundation, and serves on the editorial boards of several international scientific journals.

She received her degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1986 and completed her specialization in Orthodontics in 1989 at the University of Naples Federico II. She subsequently undertook advanced orthodontic training as a fellow at the University of Michigan in 1993 and earned a PhD in Interceptive Orthodontics from the University of Florence in 1997.

Prof. Perillo is the author of approximately 300 scientific publications, as well as 9 books and 10 book chapters. She has been an invited speaker at international congresses in more than 30 countries.

Her main research interests include early orthodontic treatment, non-extraction therapy, dentofacial orthopedics, cleft lip and palate, and genetics.

Marie A Cornelis received both her dental degree (1999) and postgraduate specialist degree in orthodontics (2003) from the University of Louvain, in Brussels, Belgium. In 2007, she was visiting research scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. She defended her PhD about miniplates as temporary skeletal anchorage in Brussels in 2008. Between 2009 and 2014, she was Assistant Professor at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Geneva, Switzerland. From 2014 to 2020, she was Associate Professor and Postgraduate Program Director of Orthodontics, Department of Dentistry, Aarhus University, Denmark, and in 2015 she became Head of Section. In 2021, Marie became Professor and Head of Orthodontics at the Melbourne Dental School (Australia).

Marie was awarded the WJB Houston Oral Research Award of the European Orthodontic Society in 2008 and the Dewel award twice (best clinical paper in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics); in 2012 as an author and in 2023 as first author. She is an Active Member of the Angle Society of Europe and a full member of the European Board of Orthodontists. Marie is also Associate Editor for Seminars in Orthodontics and is an Editorial Board member of the Australasian Orthodontic Journal. Her research interests are focused on clinical orthodontics, mainly skeletal anchorage, digital workflows and retention. She has authored over 65 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and book chapters.

Dr. Moschos A. Papadopoulos serves as Professor of Orthodontics at the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He is also Visiting Professor at the University of Vienna, Austria, at the Universities of Messina, Sicily and of Naples, Italy, and at the University of Iasi, Romania, as well as Collaborating Professor at the European University Miguel de Cervantes, Valladolid, Spain. He is Honorary Member of the Cyprus Orthodontic Society, he was the founder and served as first President of the Balkan Association of Orthodontic Specialists, and as President of the Orthodontic Society of Northern Greece.

Dr. Papadopoulos is Honorary Editor of the "Hellenic Orthodontic Review", was Asst. Editor of the "World Journal of Orthodontics” and is/was Member of the Editorial Board of 21 peer reviewed journals, and Reviewer for 47 journals. He is also active member in more than 23 national and international societies. 

Dr. Papadopoulos received several awards and distinctions, such as the "Joseph E. Johnson Clinical Award” and the "Turpin Award for Evidence-Based Research” from the AAO, the “Regional Award of Merit” from the WFO, the “Special Achievement Award” from the BAOS, as well as the “Francesca Miotti Award” and the “FEO Excellence Award” from the European Federation of Orthodontics. Dr. M. A. Papadopoulos is also included for four consecutive years in the Stanford List of the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2022-2025).

His main clinical and research interests include the subjects of "noncompliance orthodontic treatment", "temporary anchorage devices in orthodontics", and "evidence-based orthodontics". 

Dr. Papadopoulos has written the books "Orthodontic treatment for the Class II non-compliant patient", "Skeletal anchorage in orthodontic treatment of Class II malocclusion", and "Cleft lip and palate", edited the Greek translation of the book “Contemporary Orthodontics” from Proffit et al., has published more than 250 scientific publications, and has presented almost 500 lectures, courses and papers worldwide.

Dr Narayan H. Gandedkar is the Program Director and Stream Coordinator of the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) Program and Discipline Lead for Orthodontics within the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program at The University of Sydney. He also serves as a Staff Specialist Orthodontist with Oral Health Services NSW and Sydney Dental Hospital, and holds an Adjunct Professorship at SGT University, India.

Dandhi University of Health Sciences, India, followed by Advanced Fellowship training in Cr Gandedkar completed his Master’s Degree in Orthodontics with a Gold Medal from Rajiv Graniofacial Orthodontics at Chang Gung Memorial University and Hospital, Taiwan. Prior to joining the University of Sydney, he served as Assistant Professor at SDM College of Dental Sciences, India, and worked at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore, in the Cleft and Craniofacial Centre. His interests include craniofacial orthodontics, orthognathic surgery, airway-focused orthodontics, and skeletal anchorage systems.

He has authored more than 65 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, co-authored the textbook Surgery-First Orthodontic Management (Springer, 2019), and secured research funding exceeding AUD 550,000. Dr Gandedkar serves as Associate Editor for Seminars in Orthodontics, APOS Trends in Orthodontics, and Frontiers in Oral Health, and reviews for several International Specialty Journals worldwide.

He serves as Secretary of the Task Force of the World Federation of Orthodontists and has delivered invited lectures and workshops internationally across orthodontics and craniofacial care in over 15 countries.

Paolo M. Cattaneo received his MSc. in Bio-Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnic of Milan, Italy, and in 2003 his PhD in Dentistry from Aarhus University, Denmark, under the supervision of Prof. Birte Melsen.

Paolo is a Professor of Research at the Melbourne Dental School, University of Melbourne, Australia, and Head of the Orthodontics & Craniofacial Research Group at the same Institution. He is an Honorary Fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Victoria, Australia, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern Denmark, Denmark. From 2010 to 2020 he served as an Associate Professor at the Section of Orthodontics, Dept. of Dentistry, Aarhus University.

His research interests focus on orthodontic biomechanics, 3D imaging in orthodontics, and analysis of dento-alveolar structures and their interaction with external mechanical stimuli studied using in-vitro, in-vivo, and in-silico models. At present, he is actively involved in projects dealing with clinical orthodontic outcome analysis in 3D, material characterization of aligners, sleep disordered breathing.

Paolo was awarded the Dewel award as the last author of the best clinical paper in the AJO-DO in 2023. In 2025 he was the recipient of the PR Begg Research Award from the Australian Society of Orthodontists.

Paolo is an Associate Editor for Progress in Orthodontics and he sits in the editorial board of Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research. He has authored over 130 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and book chapters.

Professor Reem Alansari is double American Board certifies in Orthodontics and Dental Sleep Medicine. She did her Orthodontic residency at Tufts University in Boston and earned her PhD in Dental Sciences from McGill University in CA. Currently, she is a Full Professor of Orthodontics at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, an Adjunct Professor at Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College, and a Professor at the University of Campania, Naples, Italy. She is the Establishing Director of the Dental Sleep Medicine Unit at King Abdulaziz University. She is, and has been for the past 5 years, on the Board of Directors of the Saudi Orthodontic Society, and she is on the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists representing the Middle East and Africa. She is also on the editorial board of Seminars in Orthodontics. Her research interests include Qualitative Data, Dental Sleep Medicine, Dental Education, Miniscrews, Aligners, and Adult Expansion. She is married to a double major neurologist and neuropsychiatrist and has a boy who is 22 and two girls who are 17 and 14. 

Dr. Sandag-Ochir Atarsaikhan was born in 1986 in Selenge Province, Mongolia. He completed his secondary education in Selenge Province in 2005 and subsequently enrolled in the School of Dentistry at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS), where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2010.

Following graduation, Dr. Sandag-Ochir pursued advanced postgraduate training in Orthodontics at MNUMS and became a certified orthodontist in 2015. He further completed a Master's degree in Orthodontics in 2019, strengthening his academic and clinical expertise in dentofacial orthopedics and orthodontic treatment.

Professionally, he serves as the Founder and Orthodontist of Suvdan Goyol Dental Clinic and has also been practicing as an orthodontist at the Dental Centeral hospital. Throughout his career, he has actively contributed to orthodontic education, clinical research, and professional development in Mongolia. 

To further enhance his clinical expertise, Dr. Sandag-Ochir completed specialized orthodontic training programs at Meikai University in Japan (2018), Yonsei University in the Republic of Korea (2019), and Taipei Medical University in Taiwan (2020). These international experiences have significantly enriched his knowledge of contemporary orthodontic diagnosis and treatment, particularly in the management of complex skeletal malocclusions and MEAW therapy.

His academic interests include skeletal Class II and Class III malocclusions, orthognathic surgery versus orthodontic camouflage treatment, impacted teeth management, and advanced orthodontic biomechanics. He has authored and presented numerous scientific publications and conference papers, contributing to the advancement of orthodontic research and clinical practice in Mongolia.

Dr. Song Yi Lin is a Senior Consultant at the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and Associate Programme Director of the NUS Orthodontic Residency Programme. A registered orthodontic specialist, she holds a Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics from the National University of Singapore and a Master’s in Clinical Education from the University of Edinburgh, reflecting her strong commitment to health professions education and educational innovation. She also holds an Executive Certificate in Technology-Enhanced Learning from Duke-NUS Medical School and serves as Director of Graduate Education for the Oral Health Academic Clinical Programme at NDCS. Passionate about translating educational research into meaningful educational experiences, her research explores the use of emerging technologies such as mobile augmented reality, gamification, and 3D printing to enhance orthodontic care, patient education, and clinical training.

Takashi Ono is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthodontic Science, Graduate School Institute of Science Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. He graduated Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) with PhD degree in 1991, and studied at the University of British Columbia, Canada and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Prof. Ono worked and has been working as an Adjunct/Visiting Professor at 14 domestic/international universities. He also serves as an editorial board member for 14 international peer-reviewed journals. He has published 13 book chapters and 350 scientific articles. His research interests include oral/craniofacial biology, obstructive sleep apnea, diabetes, tongue function and respiration. Prof. Ono is a recipient of IADR/AADR Williams J. Gies Award in 2018 and AJODO Wayne G. Watson Award in 2024. He is currently a member of the E.H. Angle Society North Atlantic Component, and Secretary General of the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society (APOS). Prof. Ono is a past Executive Committee member of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO).

Professor Udom Thongudomporn received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Faculty of Dentistry, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He earned a Master's degree in Orthodontics from the University of Queensland, Australia, and a PhD in Epidemiology from the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University. He is a Diplomate of the Thai Board of Orthodontics and currently serves as Professor of Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Prince of Songkla University. His research interests include clinical orthodontics, orthodontic biomechanics, and clinical epidemiology. He has authored more than 50 articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Vinod Krishnan, professor and head of orthodontics at Sri Sankara Dental College, holds a PhD and MDS in orthodontics from the University of Kerala, as well as FDSRCS and M.Orth RCS from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, U.K. He has edited two postgraduate textbooks titled “Biological Mechanisms of Tooth Movement” and “Integrated Clinical Orthodontics.”

Currently, he serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of the World Federation of Orthodontists, a peer reviewer for various international journals, and has published numerous papers in high-impact factor journals. He has edited three issues of Seminars in Orthodontics and received the Young Dentist Researcher Award at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, along with the Best Teacher Award from Kerala University of Health Sciences in 2018.

Prof. Wei Lin is the President of the Macau Association of Orthodontics and Director of Uni-Care Dental Center in Macau. He serves as a Member of the Health Professionals Committee of Macao and holds the position of Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Jinan University. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, and is currently the Editor of the Chinese Journal of Orthodontics.

With extensive clinical experience and a strong academic background, Prof. Lin has made significant contributions to orthodontic research, particularly in the areas of alveolar bone remodeling, self-ligating bracket systems, and evidence-based treatment outcomes using advanced imaging such as CBCT. He is deeply committed to advancing orthodontic education and clinical excellence across the Asia-Pacific region.

Dr. You-Sun Lee is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Korea University Anam Hospital in Seoul, Korea. She earned her D.D.S. and M.S. in Orthodontics from Gangneung National University College of Dentistry and completed her orthodontic specialty training at Gangneung-Wonju National University Dental Hospital. She received her Ph.D. from The Catholic University of Korea, College of Medicine.

She completed a fellowship in the Department of Orthodontics at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, where she later served as a Clinical Professor. She has also held adjunct faculty appointments at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and The Catholic University of Korea, College of Medicine, and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Korea University Anam Hospital since 2023.

Dr. Lee is an active member of several academic societies, including the Korean Association of Orthodontists (KAO), the Korean Orthognathic Society (KOS), the Korean Association of Lingual Orthodontists (KALO), the Korean Association of Cleft Lip and Palate (KACLP), the Korean Research Society of Orofacial Orthopedics (KRSOO), and the Korean Society of Psychosomatic Dentistry (KSPD). She currently serves as Director of Ethics for the KAO, Director of Planning for the KOS and Director of Membership Management for KALO.

Her clinical and research interests focus on skeletal anchorage systems, nonextraction orthodontic treatment, orthognathic and interdisciplinary care, and lingual orthodontics.
