Residents' Symposium

What to Expect

The Residents’ Symposium is a key highlight of the APOC pre-conference programme, bringing together orthodontic residents from across the region. This year, the symposium is further boosted through the inclusion of residents from the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), invited under the auspices of the newly formed Future Leaders in Orthodontic Societies (FLOS) initiative.

The symposium will feature two dedicated presentation tracks: a clinical track and a research track. Residents from the region and around the world are invited to participate. Outstanding contributions will be recognised, with attractive prizes awarded to the top three presenters in each track.

The Residents’ Symposium offers a great opportunity for networking and building connections with peers from different countries and programmes.

With a full-day programme planned, participants can look forward to learning from one another, by sharing experiences, and discussing the challenges commonly encountered in the early years of orthodontic practice.

The day will culminate in a Residents’ and Pre-Event Reception, providing a relaxed setting for attendees to unwind and enjoy an evening of good food, drinks, and camaraderie.
